Emergency crews were called to Denfield Road in Lucan Biddulph around 5:45 p.m. on May 14th after a vehicle rolled over and hit a hydro pole. The Middlesex County OPP, local firefighters, and Middlesex-London Paramedics responded to the scene.
According to police, the vehicle left the road, rolled, and crashed into the pole. The driver, a 70-year-old from Denfield, was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Denfield Road was closed for several hours between Prince William Road and Maple Lodge Drive while hydro crews worked to replace the damaged pole.
The driver has been charged with careless driving under the Highway Traffic Act. Anyone with information or concerns can contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
