Jessica’s House Hospice is inviting everyone to lace up their shoes and take part in Hike for Hospice 2025, happening on May 31st. This special event is more than just a walk, it’s a chance to come together as a community and support local families who are facing the challenges of end-of-life care and grief.
People of all ages are welcome to join the walk, whether they’re honouring the memory of a loved one, walking alongside friends and family, or simply showing their support for the important work being done at Jessica’s House. Every step taken will help ensure that hospice care and grief support services remain available at no cost to those who need them.
The day promises to be full of warmth and community spirit, with a touching walk featuring interactive stories along the route, delicious snacks, and live music from local performer Darren Steckle.
This year, organizers hope to raise $30,000 to continue providing compassionate care in the community. Participants are encouraged to help by collecting donations, fundraising online, and spreading the word.
Jessica’s House Hospice says the hike is a way for the community to come together and show just how much care and comfort can be shared with every step. With the help of generous sponsors and participants, Hike for Hospice 2025 is expected to be one of the most meaningful events yet.
