Huron County Pride has been named myFM Community Partner of the Month for June, and Pride Chair Alex Jebson says it’s an honour to be recognized.
For those unfamiliar with their work, Huron County Pride is a group that creates events and activities to celebrate and support the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.
Their biggest event of the year is Pride Week, which takes place during the first full week of June. The main event is the Huron County Pride Festival, now in its third year, which will be held on Saturday, June 7th in Goderich.
For anyone who wants to get involved with the team or learn more, Jebson tells us how.
With the month of June being a time to celebrate pride and diversity, the recognition as Community Partner is a meaningful moment for the group and the entire county.
