A brand-new nonprofit organization in South Huron is working hard to bring people together with a community celebration this summer, and they’re hoping more sponsors and donations will help make the event even better.
Jonathon Roulston, chair of the Huron Togetherness Project says The idea was to host a full weekend of Canada Day celebrations, with live music, events, and fireworks. But Due to a lack of sponsorship, the group had to scale things back.
Despite the reduced schedule, Roulston says they’re still aiming to make it a great community event and there’s room for it to grow, with enough support.
