Police have made an arrest following two break and enters in Huron-Kinloss and South Huron earlier this year.
The first incident happened on February 14th, when Huron County OPP were called to a construction site on B Line, just outside Grand Bend. Several appliances and pieces of equipment had been stolen.
On March 17th, South Bruce OPP received a report of another break-in this time at storage units on an event grounds property along Walter Street in Lucknow. Electrical equipment was taken from the site.
After months of investigation, the Huron-Perth Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) carried out a search warrant at a storage facility in Goderich on June 10th. During the search, officers recovered items connected to both break-ins.
As a result, a 40-year-old of Huron-Kinloss has been charged with break and enter, along with four counts of possessing property obtained by crime.
