The Municipality of Bluewater is inviting residents and community members to take part in an important public meeting on Monday, June 16th, at 5:00 p.m. The meeting will focus on possible changes to the Official Plan, which helps guide future growth and development in the community.
This hybrid meeting allows people to attend either in person at the Council Chambers inside the Stanley Community Centre (38594 Mill Road, Varna) or online.
Bluewater’s current Official Plan was adopted in 2005 and last updated in 2018. Every five years, the municipality is required by law to review the plan to ensure it aligns with provincial and county policies and priorities. This public meeting is the first step in that process.
Everyone is welcome to attend and share their thoughts on what changes might be needed. Additional open houses and meetings will take place in the future to go over any updates to the plan’s policies or maps.
If you would like to take part, either virtually or in person, contact the Planner and Planning Coordinator at op@municipalityofbluewater.ca or call 519-236-4351 ext. 235 before 4:00 p.m. on June 16. The meeting will also be livestreamed on the Municipality of Bluewater’s YouTube page for those who want to watch online.
