A man from Cambridge, Ontario is now facing more criminal charges in an ongoing investigation led by the Huron County OPP Crime Unit.
Police began looking into the case in March 2024 after they received a report that someone had been communicating inappropriately with a child under the age of 13 through a social media platform. Investigators later identified a suspect, and a 27-year-old of Cambridge was arrested. He was originally charged with six offences, including luring, possession of child pornography, and making sexually explicit material available to minors.
As the investigation continued, new evidence came to light and additional victims were identified. Now 28 years old, the man has been charged with 21 more offences. These include more counts of luring and making sexually explicit content available to minors, as well as sexual assault, sexual interference, and voyeurism.
Police believe there may be more victims who have not yet come forward. They say the accused used online names such as “Jason,” “Stintam,” “Stalkham,” “Jason Stintam,” and “Jason Stalkham,” and often used Bitmoji images as profile pictures. (See pictures below)
