A long-standing local sports tradition is coming to a close, and the community is invited to help say goodbye.
On Sunday, June 22nd, former players, coaches, parents, and executive members of Exeter-Seaforth Ringette are invited to attend a farewell celebration at the Hensall Community Centre Pavilion from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The event will honour more than 40 years of ringette in the Exeter and Seaforth area.
The farewell event will include time to reconnect with old teammates and coaches, enjoy photo displays, and watch video highlights from past seasons. Around 3 p.m., organizers will present donation cheques to local charities using the association’s remaining funds. There are also plans for a special guest speaker, someone who previously played ringette in the area.
