Huron Shores Area Transit (HSAT) is bringing back its popular Summer Express Bus, starting Saturday, June 28th, 2025. The seasonal service gives riders a simple and reliable way to travel between London and Grand Bend, with stops in South Huron and a new stop in Exeter.
To help more people get to the beach, the Summer Express Bus will run four return trips every Saturday and Sunday in July and August. There will also be special service on Canada Day, Tuesday, July 1st. The first bus of the day leaves London at 9:30 a.m., and the last return trip from Grand Bend is at 8:30 p.m.
A new stop has been added this year in Exeter, at the Walper Street at McDonald’s stop, to make it even easier for local riders to hop on board.
To help with planning, HSAT has launched a new online booking system. Riders can book their seats ahead of time, choose their preferred departure and return times, and pay securely with debit or credit card. Seats are limited to 24 per trip, so booking early is strongly recommended. Round-trip tickets cost $20, and online booking opens on Monday, June 23rd.
HSAT will no longer provide taxi rides for stranded passengers on weekends in July and August. Riders are encouraged to reserve in advance to make sure they don’t miss out.
