A traffic stop in Grand Bend has led to charges against a local driver for impaired driving and driving without insurance.
On June 21st around 5:15 p.m., an officer from the Lambton County OPP was on bicycle patrol when they pulled over a vehicle on Queens Avenue. After investigating, police arrested a 26-year-old of Grand Bend. She is charged with driving while over the legal alcohol limit and for operating a vehicle without insurance.
Police say they will continue working to keep impaired drivers off the roads. They remind everyone that no amount of alcohol or drugs is safe when driving. Anyone who sees a driver they believe is impaired should call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
