A Goderich-area resident is facing charges after police investigated a theft from a local store. On Saturday, June 28th, Huron County OPP officers were called by store staff in the Town of Goderich who reported a small theft that happened earlier that day. Thanks to video surveillance, police were able to identify the person involved.
Officers found and arrested the suspect a short time later. As a result, a 34-year-old, who does not have a fixed address, has been charged with theft under $5,000 and failing to follow a probation order.
