Lucan is gearing up for a full day of family fun, food, and music as Summerfest 2025 returns Saturday.
The annual celebration takes place at the Lucan Biddulph Community Memorial Centre, and as Mayor Cathy Burghardt-Jesson explains, the day kicks off bright and early with something for everyone.
Now in its fourth year, the local festival has grown from a small pandemic-era celebration into a marquee summer event notes the Mayor, featuring family-friendly fun, free public swimming and skating, local food, live music and more.
The lineup of scheduled events includes a Super Dogs Show, Street Art Competition, a Kids’ Zone featuring a Rock Climbing Wall & Paddleboat Pond, as well as local food and merchandise vendors.
A cornhole tournament has also been added this year with over $1,000 in prizes. And those looking to cap the night off with live music can grab tickets for the evening concert explains Burghardt-Jesson.
