The Exeter BIA is bringing back a local favourite, the White Squirrel Calendar for 2025 and 2026. After hearing from many people who missed it, the calendar will return as a 16-month edition and feature community-submitted photos of Exeter’s famous white squirrels.
Caroline Hill, Business Manager of the Exeter BIA, says they’re now collecting photo submissions.
Anyone who has a great white squirrel photo is invited to send it in by the end of July.
Photos that make it into the calendar will be entered into a contest that the public will vote on.
Hill says the goal is to not only celebrate a local icon but also raise funds for community events. The calendar will be released in September, just in time for the holiday season, making it a perfect gift or keepsake from Canada.
Photos should be sent in JPEG or PNG format. Details and updates will be posted on the Exeter BIA’s “Experience Exeter” social media pages.
