The Exeter Rodeo is back for its 28th year, and it promises two full days of excitement, competition, and community celebration.
Ross Millar, President of the Ram Rodeo Tour, says the event takes place Saturday, August 9th and Sunday, August 10th, and includes rodeo competitions, live music, and activities for all ages.
Riders from across Eastern North America will compete for a share of $300,000 in prize money this summer as part of the Ram Rodeo Tour.
Millar says fans can expect all the classic rodeo events.
He also pointed out that Exeter is home to strong local talent.
The event will be held at the Exeter Rodeo grounds. Saturday’s show begins at 4:00 p.m., with Sunday’s rodeo starting at 1:00 p.m. A Saturday night barn dance and live music event will follow the rodeo.
Families with children can also take part in the free “Kids Rodeo,” which lets kids step into the arena and play games before the main show. That starts at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday and 11:30 a.m. on Sunday.
