A 57-year-old Parkhill woman is facing charges after police say they stopped a suspicious vehicle in the town late Sunday night.
On August 4th, just after 11 p.m., a Middlesex County OPP officer was on patrol in Parkhill when they noticed a vehicle on Emily Street that raised concerns. The officer pulled the vehicle over, and the driver was arrested at the scene.
The driver was taken to the local OPP detachment and is now facing several charges, including driving while impaired by drugs. Police also say the driver didn’t have their driver’s licence or proof of insurance with her at the time.
Police are reminding the public to report any suspicious activity or impaired drivers. You can contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or reach out to Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477.
