August 14th is Miracle Treat Day and Jackie Hamilton and her daughters, Brinley and Aubrey stopped by the myFM Studio and shared her family’s inspiring story, explaining the challenges they, faced when the girls were born extremely premature.
The girls spent around 70 days at Children’s Hospital before being transferred to a local hospital once they were strong enough.
Jackie said Miracle Treat Day holds special meaning for their family.
She emphasized the importance of supporting local hospitals, noting that much of the hospital’s equipment and programs rely on donations.
Now six years old, Brinley and Aubrey are happy, healthy, and active.
Jackie described the journey as a roller coaster with ups and downs, but expressed gratitude for the care her daughters received and the support that helped them get to where they are today.
When asked about Miracle Treat Day, Brinley and Aubrey shyly said they like the event, reflecting the joy and hope it brings to families and children.
Jackie encouraged other parents going through similar challenges to stay strong and take comfort in the support and care available at local hospitals.
