The annual 90.5 myFM and Huron Shores RV Parts and Repair All Hands on Deck Food Drive in Exeter and area has wrapped up for another year, and we are celebrating record-breaking results!
This year’s event brought together volunteers, local businesses, and community members across three towns and three counties. Four collection sites and eight donation trucks were set up, with 14 volunteers helping hand out more than 1,000 shopping lists to encourage donations.
The effort paid off in a big way. In total, the drive collected over 4,100 pounds of food along with $3,218.60 in cash and gift cards.
90.5 General Manager, David McAllan says the success of the Food Drive shows that the strength of community and teamwork can make a difference in the lives of those in need within the community.
