Several streets in Zurich will be temporarily closed this week to make way for Bean Fest celebrations. Closures will take place between Thursday, August 21st and Sunday, August 24th, with detours in place to help drivers get around.
Victoria Lane will be closed from Mill Avenue to Rosalie Street starting at noon on Thursday and will reopen Sunday at noon. Another section of Victoria Lane, between Main Street and Mill Avenue, will be closed from noon on Friday until Sunday at noon.
Mill Avenue, between Goshen Street North and John Street, will be closed from Friday at 8 a.m. until early Sunday morning at 6 a.m. Rosalie Street, from Goshen Street North to Frederick Avenue, will be closed from Friday at 8 a.m. until Sunday at noon.
On Saturday, more closures will be in place. Frederick Avenue, between Mary Street and Goshen Street South, will be closed from 5:30 a.m. until 6 p.m. Goshen Street North, from Main Street to Mary Street, will be closed from 5 a.m. until 7 p.m. Main Street (Highway 84), between Goshen Street North and John Street, will also be closed from 5 a.m. until 7 p.m.
In addition, the municipal office parking lot at 14 Mill Avenue will be closed beginning Friday at 7:30 a.m. and will remain closed until Bean Fest ends on Sunday.
