Huron Hospice will hold its annual Butterfly Release this Sunday at 2 p.m., giving families a special way to honor loved ones.
During a brief ceremony, 75 painted lady butterflies will be released together, creating a meaningful tribute.
The release has become a cherished tradition, offering comfort to grieving families and a chance for children to learn and participate.
Proceeds go to Huron Hospice, which must raise about $700,000 each year to cover half its operating costs not funded by the province.
