The Municipality of Lambton Shores is once again offering financial support to local programs and projects through the Community Vibrancy Fund. The fund was created as part of an agreement with Jericho Wind, LP (Cordelio Power, formerly NextEra).
The program is designed to support initiatives that improve quality of life for residents, including projects in health, arts, culture, recreation, heritage, education, and the environment.
Funding is available in two streams. The Small Projects stream will cover up to half of eligible project costs, with matching funds considered for cash contributions only. In-kind services may be accepted for projects on municipal property if the work is carried out by a qualified business that meets municipal requirements. Applications for the 2026 intake must be submitted by October 15, 2025.
The Large Projects stream will fund up to one-third of eligible costs and is limited to capital projects.
Residents can learn more about the Community Vibrancy Fund by contacting the Community Services Department by email or by calling 519-243-1400, option 3.
