An investigation by the Huron-Perth OPP Community Street Crimes Unit has led to the seizure of drugs, weapons, and other property, along with charges against three Huron County residents.
The investigation began in May 2025 and involved addresses in Huron East and Goderich. Officers from Grey-Bruce, Wellington, and the OPP Emergency Response Team also assisted.
On September 4th, police carried out three search warrants, two in Goderich and one in Seaforth. They seized suspected cocaine and methamphetamine worth about $13,805. They also took $2,110 in cash, along with phones, digital scales, packaging materials, and imitation firearms.
As a result, three people are facing charges. A 26-year-old of Goderich was charged with possession of cocaine and methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking. They were held for a bail hearing and later released with a court date.
A 32-year-old of Goderich was charged with possession of cocaine and released with a court date.
And a 64-year-old of Huron East was also charged with possession of cocaine and released with a court date.
