Lambton Heritage Museum is kicking off the new school year with its first PA Day event, Farmyard Frolics, on Friday, September 19th from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Families are invited to visit the museum’s new Agricultural Hall and take part in farm-themed activities throughout the day.
Children can enjoy an “I Spy” scavenger hunt, while visitors of all ages can watch broom-making demonstrations at 12 p.m., 1:30 p.m., and 3 p.m. Guided tours of the new exhibit will also be offered at 11:30 a.m., 1 p.m., and 2:30 p.m.
The Agricultural Hall shares more than 200 years of farming history in the region, highlighting the hard work of clearing land, planting crops, raising animals, and harvesting. It shows how farming methods and tools have changed, while reminding visitors that agriculture is still at the heart of local life.
Admission is $5 for adults, $4 for seniors and students, and $3 for children, with kids three and under admitted free. No registration is needed. More details can be found on the museum’s website.
