Police have revealed that a 36-year-old from Ayr passed away at the scene of the collision. A 31-year-old from Goderich, who was also in the van, was airlifted to a trauma centre with serious, life-threatening injuries.

Huron OPP are looking to speak with a possible witness to a deadly crash that happened early this morning.
The collision took place around 5:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 20th, at the intersection of Highway 4 and Huron Park Road in Centralia, just south of Exeter.

A section of London Road in Centralia remains closed this morning after a fatal crash involving a transport truck and a passenger van.
The Ontario Provincial Police in Huron County said the collision happened near the stretch of road between Crediton Road and Mount Carmel Drive. Huron Park Road and Whalen Line are also closed where they meet London Road.
Officers are still at the scene, and the public is being asked to stay away from the area and plan for alternate routes.
Police confirmed that the crash resulted in a death, and injuries were also reported. The investigation is ongoing, and more updates are expected as information becomes available.
