Jolt Fitness is bringing the community together for a special fitness event at the Govors Family Farm Pumpkin Patch on Saturday, September 27th.
Siggy Siggertson, head trainer at Jolt Fitness told myFM the details.
After the workouts, participants can enjoy complimentary coffee provided by Exeter McDonald’s and take time to pick pumpkins.
The event is free and open to everyone, whether or not they are members of the gym.
Participants are asked to bring one non-perishable food item for each workout they attend, with all donations going to the Exeter Food Bank.
Siggy said the idea came from the gym’s commitment to giving back.
Both the trail run and yoga session are open to all ages and fitness levels. The run offers a one-mile loop through a scenic trail, where walkers and runners can take part at their own pace. Families are welcome to join in. For yoga, participants should bring a mat and water bottle, while runners are asked to dress for the weather and wear outdoor shoes, as the trail may be muddy.
Siggy said the event is about more than fitness.
Those interested in joining are encouraged to pre-register here to receive updates and any weather-related changes.
