It’s Crabby Joe’s game day. The Exeter Hawks face off against Petrolia tonight at 8pm at the South Huron Recreation Centre in Exeter.
Chase Wedlake is back playing for his hometown team, the Exeter Hawks, with an added role this season!
Chase grew up playing hockey at a local arena and started in minor hockey.
He previously played for the Huron-Perth Lakers before returning home to join the Hawks.
He chose to play forward because he loves scoring goals, though he also enjoys playing defense.
Not only is he once again part of his hometown team, but will now take on a leadership role as one of the teams assistant captains.
Even early in the season, Chase says the team has a strong bond, even with all the news additions to the team.
Like all the Hawks players, Chase had nothing but good things to say about the fans.
The Hawks and their fans are looking forward to an exciting season with one of their own leading the way.
Go tonight and cheer on your hometown Hawks! Come before or after the game and fuel up at Crabby Joe’s in Exeter.
