The Municipality of Bluewater is reminding residents that a Canada Post strike will affect mail delivery, including bills and other correspondence sent to and from the Municipality.
Residents are still responsible for making payments on time. Late charges will apply if bills are not paid by the due date, even during a postal strike. Anyone who has already mailed their property tax payment is encouraged to call the Municipal Office to confirm that it has been received.
To avoid delays, the Municipality offers several convenient ways to pay for property taxes, water and sewer bills, and other accounts. Residents are also encouraged to sign up for paperless billing so that future postal disruptions do not affect delivery.
For more information or assistance, residents can contact the Municipality of Bluewater at 519-236-4351 or by email at info@municipalityofbluewater.ca
