Jessica’s House is getting ready for its biggest fundraising event of the year, Handbags for Hospice, and organizers are inviting the community to join in for a night of fun, fashion, and giving back.
The event, running since 2018, features live and silent auctions. Guests can also enjoy games, prizes, and a high-energy evening with friends and family.
Meghan O’Rourke, Fund Development and Communications Coordinator at Jessica’s House, explains the event.
O’Rourke mentioned some of the items up for grabs this year.
Tickets are $100 in total, available online at www.jessicashousehospice.ca, until October 17th or until they sell out. For those who want to support Jessica’s House but can’t attend the event, donations can be made online, in person, or through monthly contributions, volunteering, or spreading awareness about hospice care.
O’Rourke says the event is essential for supporting hospice care.
Jessica’s House continues to provide important services to the area, ensuring families have access to compassionate care during difficult times.
The event is set for October 24th, starting at 6pm at 94 Victoria St E, Exeter.
