The Lambton Heritage Museum is inviting families to celebrate PA Day by exploring the connection between food, science, and history. The event, called A Taste of History, takes place on Friday, October 10th, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and offers interactive activities for all ages.
Visitors can test their observation skills with a scavenger hunt through the Lambton Gallery, solving clues and answering questions about how food connects to culture and community. The event also features demonstrations of traditional food preservation, including pickling and jam-making.
Guests will have one of the last chances to see the travelling exhibit A Taste of Science, created by the Canada Agriculture and Food Museum. The exhibit explores the science behind preserving food and preventing spoilage and will close on October 25th.
Admission is $5 for adults, $4 for seniors and students, $3 for children, and children under three are free. No registration is required. For more information, visit the museum’s website
