Members of the Middlesex County OPP Crime Unit have laid charges after a farming accident in North Middlesex led to the death of a teenager.
Emergency crews were called to a farm on Parkhill Drive on September 20th, around 4:00 p.m.
Police say a 15-year-old from Arkona was found unconscious in a well on the property and was taken to hospital, where they were later pronounced dead.
As a result, a 58-year-old of North Middlesex has been charged with causing death by criminal negligence.
The accused has been released and is set to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice at a later date.
