If you have a favourite shirt missing a button or pants and skirts that need hemming, Huron Hospice can help. Instead of throwing clothes away, you can bring them to the Huron Hospice Drop-in Mending Café at Bender House, 37857 Huron Road, Clinton.
Skilled volunteers will repair your clean clothing, and all they ask is a donation to Huron Hospice. While your clothes are being mended, you can take a guided tour of the residence, walk the grounds, and enjoy coffee and cookies.
The Drop-in Mending Café will be open Friday, October 24th, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday, October 25th, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
