Traffic congestion in school zones appears to be on the rise, this according to new findings from CAA.
Eight in 10 parents report heavy traffic during drop-off and pick-up, which is up from last year.
Manager of Government Relations Lauren Fisher says unsafe behaviour from drivers is coming in many forms.
Fisher says most parents are in favour of reducing the speed limit in school zones, with nearly half considering 30km/h as the most appropriate speed.
She adds many parents also believe that automated speed enforcement effectively deters speeding in school zones.
