Ryan Hutton has been an avid fan of baseball and the Toronto Blue Jays his entire life. He enjoyed playing the game from age five to 13 and then umpired for two years.
He goes to lots of games at Rogers Centre and said his favourite Blue Jay is Bo Bichette, who appears to be good to go for the World Series after being sidelined for the entire postseason so far due to injury.
Following last night’s incredible win over the Seattle Mariners in game seven of the ALCS, an emotional Hutton reacted to the Blue Jays’ first World Series berth since 1993.
Hutton commented on Vladdy Guerrero Jr. being named the 2025 ALCS MVP.
Now, the Blue Jays get set for their toughest test yet, Shohei Ohtani and the defending champion, Los Angeles Dodgers.
Hutton explained what they need to do in order to shut down Ohtani and the Dodgers.
Tickets for game one this Friday went on sale through Ticketmaster this morning at 10 a.m., drawing thousands of people into the cue.
A frustrated Jays fan (@LeafsMaz20) took to social media to call for regulations around buying tickets:
“At 10:01, 491st in line, a guarantee to get tickets at a limit of 6 per person. Four minutes later at 10:05, there are no regular tickets left, only re-sale. How is this possible?”
The average cost is around $1,000 USD for a ticket to games one and two in Toronto this weekend.
