The South Huron Hospital Foundation is getting ready for its 12th annual Radiothon on Friday, October 31st. Krista McCann, Executive Director of the foundation, says the event is a fun way to bring the community together and raise money for local healthcare.
The day-long Radiothon will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Hanson’s Independent Grocer in Exeter. McCann explained that the goal is to raise $50,000 in six hours, with donations going toward specific hospital equipment.
This years event will be taking place on Halloween and McCann is inviting the public to wear their Halloween best.
