A 40-year-old Lucan resident is facing several charges after a single-vehicle collision on Coursey Line in Lucan Biddulph on Sunday morning, October 26th.
Police say Middlesex County OPP officers were called to the scene around 9:39 a.m. The driver was arrested and taken to the Middlesex OPP detachment for further investigation.
As a result, the driver has been charged with impaired driving, having a blood alcohol concentration over the legal limit, careless driving, failing to report an accident, and failing to remain at the scene.
Middlesex OPP remind drivers that impaired driving is a serious offence and ask the public to report any suspicious or unsafe driving. Anyone who suspects an impaired driver should call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 to remain anonymous.
