A Huron East resident is facing charges after police seized drugs, cash, and a weapon during a recent investigation.
The Huron-Perth OPP Community Street Crimes Unit (CSCU), along with officers from the Huron OPP detachment, carried out a search warrant at a home in Huron East on Wednesday, November 12th.
During the search, police found suspected methamphetamine and oxycodone worth more than $10,200, along with cash, a weigh scale, packaging materials, cell phones, and a CO2 BB gun. The total value of the additional items seized was about $1,945.
As a result, a 46-year-old of Huron East has been charged with possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – methamphetamine.
The suspect was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court in Goderich at a later date.
