It’s Crabby Joe’s game day. The Exeter Hawks face off against Petrolia tonight at 8pm at the South Huron Recreation Centre in Exeter.
Exeter Hawks goaltender, newcomer Ben Foster is proud to wear number one for the team and says this season has already been one to remember.
Foster grew up around hockey thanks to his father.
Watching NHL star Jonathan Quick during his standout 2012 playoff run inspired Foster to become a goalie himself.
Now playing in Exeter, Foster says he’s grateful to be part of such a close and supportive team.
Foster says his favorite part of being on the team is spending time at the rink with his teammates and being cheered on by the passionate Hawks fans.
Foster says the Hawks’ strong fan base helps make every home game special.
He had a message for the fans ahead of tonight’s game.
Go tonight and cheer on your hometown Hawks! Come before or after the game and fuel up at Crabby Joe’s in Exeter.
