The Eco Exeter Club at South Huron District High School is getting ready for its second annual Community Market, an event focused on sustainability, local shopping, and student leadership.
Co-president Arina Postovalova told myFM about the market.
The event will also feature prizes and a variety of booths, including local baked goods, handmade décor, and other unique items. She mentioned Eco Exeter is still looking for more vendors to join.
Postovalova says last year’s event was a big success, even with snowy weather.
She also noted that the market is completely student-run.
The market will take place on Saturday, November 29th, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the school’s large gym. Entry is free for both vendors and visitors, making it a great opportunity for the community to come together.
