It’s a rare Tuesday Crabby Joe’s game day. The Exeter Hawks face off against Thamesford tonight at 8pm at the South Huron Recreation Centre in Exeter.
Newcomer to the Hawks this season, Tyler Copeland, is already making his mark on the team. Copeland noted he got into hockey because both his dad and grandpa loved the sport.
Copeland told myFM why he chose to play as a forward.
Although this is Copelands first season with the Hawks, he says the team is close-knit.
His favorite part about being a Hawk is the energy everyone brings.
He mentioned how much the fans mean to the team.
Looking back on his junior hockey career, Copeland had some advice to new players.
His message to the fans a head of tonight game is simple.
Go tonight and cheer on your hometown Hawks! Come before or after the game and fuel up at Crabby Joe’s in Exeter.
