The Ontario Provincial Police has arrested one person after a homicide in Lambton Shores.
Officers were called to a home on Saturday, November 29th, around 1:40 p.m. When police arrived, they found one person dead inside the residence. A second person was taken to hospital with serious injuries. Police took one individual into custody at the scene without any trouble.
Investigators believe this was an isolated incident and say there is no sign of danger to the wider community. However, people in the area may notice more police than usual as the investigation continues.
The Lambton County OPP Crime Unit is leading the case, with support from the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch, Forensic Identification Services, the Chief Coroner, and the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service.
