Tragedy struck the Northville area this weekend after one person was killed and another was left with serious injuries.
As myFM informed you on Sunday, officers were called to a home on November 29 at 1:40 p.m., where they found one person dead, another seriously hurt, and took one individual into custody without incident. myFM went into the community to learn how residents are coping with the news.
Resident Paulina Poland gave a statement to myFM saying “Social media is where I 1st heard of the incident. It is strange to even think about it as it’s so close to home. Not knowing all details does not worry me as the potential suspect is in custody. I feel horrible for all parties involved. The loss of life is never something you like to hear about.
As for the amount of information being shared at this time by police. I believe it’s fair. They cannot disclose every detail as it is still an ongoing investigation.”
Anyone with information that could help police is asked to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Anonymous tips can be shared through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or online at ontariocrimestoppers.ca.
