The Ausable Bayfield Conservation Foundation and the Exeter Lions Club are bringing back their popular online auction and 50-50 raffle in April 2026 to support local community projects.
The virtual auction will run from April 9 to 16, giving bidders a chance to buy unique items while helping fund parks, trails, youth programs, outdoor recreation, education, and other local initiatives.
Over the past 35 years, the partnership between the Foundation, the Lions Club, and the community has raised more than $1.42 million for local projects. The online auctions in 2021, 2022, and 2025, combined with 50-50 raffles, raised more than $90,000. Last year alone, the events brought in over $30,000.
The 50-50 raffle for 2026 could reach a prize of $7,500 if all tickets are sold, with ticket sales planned from February 16 to April 16, 2026.
While the committee is keeping the door open for a return of the in-person Dinner and Auction in future years, the virtual format will be the focus for 2026. Net profits from the auction are shared equally between the Foundation and the Lions Club to support ongoing conservation and community initiatives.
