The Huron County Museum is inviting families to enjoy holiday movies during the Christmas break with a special series of afternoon film screenings.
Holiday Movies at the Museum will run on select dates from December 20th through January 3rd. All movies begin at 2 p.m. and are shown in the museum theatre. The lineup includes Home Alone on Saturday, December 20th, Elf on Monday, December 22nd, Marcel the Shell with Shoes On on Saturday, December 27th, Smallfoot on Tuesday, December 30th, and Kubo and the Two Strings on Saturday, January 3rd.
The movies are included with regular museum admission and are free for museum members who show a Huron County Library card. Seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Snacks are welcome in the theatre, and popcorn, pop, and candy are available for purchase at the front desk. To help keep everyone safe, visitors are asked not to bring nut or nut-based products into the museum, as some guests have severe allergies.
The museum says the event is a fun and relaxed way for families to spend time together during the holidays while enjoying classic and family-friendly films.
