Junior C hockey is officially returning to Clinton, and excitement is building in the community.
The Goderich Flyers Jr. C Hockey Club has been approved to relocate to Clinton for the 2026–27 season. With the move comes a new chapter and the return of a familiar name. The team will now be known as the Clinton Radars.
The Radars name is coming back thanks to a new partnership with Radar Auto Parts. Team officials say the partnership marks the start of a bold new era for hockey in Clinton. Over the next few months, fans can expect a brand-new logo, new colours, and a fresh team identity that reflects the community.
Organizers say the goal is to build a strong, competitive team from the ground up. They are also looking for passionate people to get involved, with several positions open as the franchise takes shape.
To help kick things off, the Clinton Radars will hold their inaugural annual general meeting on January 14th, 2026. The meeting will take place at 7:30 p.m. at the Libro Hall, located at 239 Bill Fleming Drive in Clinton. Community members are encouraged to attend and learn more about the future of the team.
Team officials say this is just the beginning, and they promise the Radars are not coming quietly. A new era of hockey is starting in Clinton, and the community is invited to be part of it.
