Lambton Heritage Museum is asking residents to help tell the story of modern farming in Lambton County through a new photography project.
Until January 31st, community members are invited to submit photos that show what farming looks like today. The museum is looking for images of people working on farms, local landscapes, animals, equipment, and new technology used in agriculture. Photos can also show harvest time or simple, everyday moments that reflect life on a farm.
The photos will be used to create a community collage that celebrates the hard work, innovation, and traditions found across Lambton County farms..
Digital photos can be submitted online using a form on the museum’s website at lambtonmuseums.ca/farming. People who have printed photos can call the museum at 519-243-2600 to arrange help with scanning them.
All submitted photos must clearly relate to Lambton County. Selected images will be featured in the new Agricultural Hall exhibition at Lambton Heritage Museum.
