The Exeter Lions and Sawyer’s Dry Cleaning and Laundry Company have launched ‘Loonies for Laundry,’ an initiative to help those that can’t afford to pay to clean their clothes.
Both have donated 600 dollars for the program so far and that money will reportedly be used for laundry punch cards that will be distributed to families or people in need.
“Loonies for Laundry” donation jars are also set up at local businesses for anyone who’d like to help.
