A collision between a tractor-trailer and a school bus in Huron East has sent four people to hospital, but all are expected to recover.
The crash happened just after 8 a.m. on Wednesday, March 4, at the intersection of North Line and Summerhill Road in the Municipality of Huron East. Members of the Ontario Provincial Police, along with Huron County Paramedic Services and the Huron East Fire Department, responded to the scene.
Police say both drivers and two teenage students were injured. Three people were taken to a local hospital, while one person was treated at the scene. All four are expected to make a full recovery.
Fog in the area at the time is believed to have been a factor in the collision. The investigation is ongoing.
North Line remains closed while officers continue their investigation and crews remove the damaged vehicles. No charges have been laid at this time.
