Drivers in Grand Bend should plan ahead for delays on Monday, April 13th due to a temporary road closure tied to the bridge construction project.
Main Street West will be closed between Ontario Street (Highway 21) and Kitchener Avenue from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The closure is needed so crews can safely deliver and install large girders for the new bridge.
Because of the size of the materials and equipment, and limited space at the work site, the full closure is required. Traffic control will also be in place on nearby streets to help manage detours and keep traffic moving as smoothly as possible.
Officials thank residents and drivers for their patience as work continues on the project.
