Residents in Lucan Biddulph are being advised of upcoming construction work on Main Street set to begin in early May, weather permitting.
The project will take place on Main Street (between William/Alice Street and Market Street) and is expected to last several weeks. Work will generally happen on weekdays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Planned upgrades include new street lighting, improvements to underground electrical systems, and sidewalk replacements with added accessibility features.
During construction, traffic patterns may change, but officials say two-way traffic will be maintained whenever possible. There may also be temporary limits on parking and driveway access.
Pedestrians can expect some sidewalk closures in work areas, although access to homes and businesses will be maintained as much as possible.
Residents should also expect increased noise and general construction activity while the work is underway.
The township says updates will be shared throughout the project, and residents can contact the township office for more information or to be added to the project contact list.
