A Lambton Shores man is celebrating a life-changing lottery win after taking home $500,000.
Dirk V., a local farmer, won the prize playing THE BIGGER SPIN instant game. He says he usually plays BINGO or CROSSWORD tickets, but decided to try something different this time. That choice paid off.
Dirk says he first realized something was different when he uncovered an in-store spin on his ticket. At first, he thought he may have won a small prize. He later attended the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto for the BIGGER SPIN event, where he had the chance to spin a prize wheel. Dirk says the experience was exciting and a bit overwhelming.
When the wheel stopped, Dirk had won $500,000.
Dirk says he plans to use the money to invest in his future. He hopes to take his girlfriend on a vacation and save the rest toward building his dream home.
