The Tanner Steffler Foundation is being recognized as the myFM Community Partner of the Month for May, a role staff say helps boost awareness for youth mental health supports across the region.
Events and Fundraising Assistant Lexi Harney says the organization is grateful for the continued support.
Harney says their work focuses on peer support, which offers non-clinical help from trained peers, as well as system navigation services that help youth and families connect with the right resources.
The organization also runs free youth programming throughout the community to help build connection and provide safe, engaging activities.
Looking ahead, the foundation is preparing for its sixth annual “Driving the Stigma Out” golf tournament.
Harney says they are hoping for another strong turnout this year.
